Your Mission

  • Coordinate the cross-functional development of new insurance products or adaptations of existing ones discussing with all internal stakeholders (sales, underwriting, pricing, operations, claims, cybersecurity, finance) during product lifecycle.

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and integration tasks for each department.

  • Translate business and product needs into clear requirements for tech teams regarding insurance product definition, pricing logic, quote-bind-issue flows and risk assessment flows, etc.

  • Coordinate the creation of product documents (AVBs, IPID, proposal forms) and ensure compliance with local regulations.

  • Serve as the main contact for internal stakeholders on product terms, pricing, claims processes, and reporting (bordereaux, loss ratios, KPIs).

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in insurance product development, underwriting, or MGA product operations. Experience working with or within insurers, MGAs, or insurtechs

  • Understanding of Insurance: Solid understanding of insurance products (preferably Cyber, Tech, P&C or specialty lines). Familiar with regulatory and contractual documents (e.g. AVBs, IPIDs)

  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to inform product development and strategy. Proficiency in using Excel (Sheets), Tableau, Looker etc. for analyzing market data and product performance.

  • Project management: Proficient in planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Proficiency in software tools used in product management: Jira, Asana etc.

  • Language skills: Fluency in German and English

  • Bonus: Experience with quote-bind-issue tools, APIs, or insurance platforms
